UNF Parking & Map

Parking Daily Virtual Permits (Friday before 5PM only)

• Two options available: or daily virtual permits — purchase through the flowbird app or website.
• The permit allows parking in Blue or Gray Lot spaces. The permit is valid for Gray Lot parking only.
• Permits are non-refundable once purchased.
• Enforcement is Monday–Thursday 7am–7pm and Friday 7am–5pm.

Parking Locations

• Park on the 2nd, 3rd, or 4th floor of Garage 44 (Fine Arts Center Garage, adjacent to Building 45).
• The 4th floor of Garage 44A (annex section, accessible from the 3rd floor of Garage 44).
• Other options: Lot 1 (surrounding Garage 44) and Lot 2 (in front of Thomas G. Carpenter Library, Building 12).
• Do not park in spaces marked with orange (Faculty/Staff) or green (Vendors) lines.
• Avoid the loading dock area at the rear of the Fine Arts Center.

Dress Rehearsal Information

Friday, May 22, 2026

Dress Rehearsal3:30 PM – 9:00 PM

Call Time

Dancers should be ready by the stage in their costumes 15 minutes prior to their scheduled rehearsal time.

Rehearsal Procedure

• Dancers will sit with their classes in the theater, then walk backstage with a helper or teacher two dances prior to their call time.
• Parents may sit in the theater to observe and collect their dancer after their final rehearsal run-through.
• Please take all costume pieces home unless on Competition Team or told otherwise.
• There will be a Union Break for UNF Stage Crew — time TBD.

Competition Team Procedure

• All Team Members should arrive and be seated 15 minutes prior to their first dance in the Dress Rehearsal Schedule.
• Team Members may store their costumes in dressing rooms overnight.

Costumes / Hair / Makeup

• Costumes: Wear your first scheduled dance costume and bring all others. Change backstage after each dance and return your finished costume to a parent.
• Hair: Style your hair for each dance number as you would on Recital Day. Use hairspray, gel, and bobby pins for loose strands.
• Makeup: Dancers should wear their stage makeup to Dress Rehearsal.

Photo / Video Policy

Photos and videos are permitted during Dress Rehearsal as long as they are not disruptive to the teachers and dancers.

Sign in your dancer at the check-in desk at the far end of the theater lobby (away from the parking lot). Team Moms and studio helpers will take your dancer and their costumes to their assigned dressing room.

Check-Out Procedure

After your dancer completes their last dance, wait to pick them up at the check-in desk. Team members and studio helpers will walk them out. Please sign them out at the desk.

Costumes / Hair / Makeup

• Costumes: Wear your first scheduled dance costume and bring all others. Label everything and use the provided checklists to stay organized.
• Hair: Style and ready to go for your first dance. Pack touch-up supplies.
• Makeup: Wear appropriate stage makeup — this prevents dancers from being washed out by stage lighting.

Videos / Photo Policy

• A videography cost was included in your Recital Fee. A professional video of the show will be available for download after the recital — the studio will email more information.
• Personal photos are welcome, but please: NO FLASH.
• Do not hold your hands up to take photos or film and obstruct the view of others.
• No need to film every dance — we have a professional videographer. Please enjoy the show!
• Please keep proper theater etiquette in mind.

Venue Info / Food & Drink

• UNF sells concessions and drinks (candy, chips, water, soda, etc.) for both cash and credit.
• During the show, no outside food or drink is permitted.
• During Dress Rehearsal, parents and students may bring snacks and drinks — please consume them in lobby areas and clean up after yourselves. The union break is a good time for this.
• Competition Team — please look out for food info for both DR and Recital.
